Sunday, 6th February - Red Balloon

Today's charity was a lot less labour intensive than yesterday - I wrote a press release for a charity called Red Balloon as one of my PR clients is doing the London Marathon. (A lot less labour intensive for me, not Marc!) It hasn't been approved yet but as soon as it has got the thumbs up and gets into print, I will update!

Red Balloon was set up 15 years ago to help with the recovery of bullied children.

They provide an 'intensive care' full-time education for children aged between 9 and 18 who are unable to go to school because they have been severely bullied to the extent where at least half of the students have attempted or seriously considered suicide.

Red Balloon gives the pupils a safe environment with clear boundaries for behaviour, and an individual full-time academic, pastoral and therapeutic programme.
