I was feeling a bit under the weather today (feeling ill, and also it was LASHING with wind and rain!), so took the opportunity to tear the stamps off lots of letters and postcards that have been sent to me over the last few years.
I'm now going to send these to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) which is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost two million people with sight loss. They help people with sight problems with imaginative and practical solutions to everyday challenges and also develop 'talking books' and braille.
Now don't think this is a cruel ruse to get blind people to buy used stamps, thinking they're new. What happens is, that once I've sent these stamps to the charity, they will sort through them looking for anything distinctive before selling the rest in bulk to stamp collectors to raise funds.
